Introduction
Caterpillar (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc., established in November 2010 in the Tianjin Airport Economic Area. It represents Caterpillar's largest single investment in the Asia-Pacific region. The factory covers an area of 250,000 square meters and is the only Caterpillar facility in China that produces the 3500 Series large engines and generator sets. Its products are widely used in power generation, oil & gas, marine, and offshore engineering industries. As the third Caterpillar factory in Tianjin, it serves as a key manufacturing base for Caterpillar's power systems business in China.
