Introduction
Beijing Foton Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. (BFCEC) was established in 2008 as a 50:50 joint venture between Cummins Inc., a global leader in power solutions, and Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd., a leading Chinese commercial vehicle manufacturer. With a total investment of over 4.9 billion RMB and an annual production capacity of 520,000 units, BFCEC is a world-class diesel engine production base. The company produces Cummins F-series 2.8L and 3.8L light-duty engines, F-series 4.5L medium-duty engines, and X-series X11, X12, X13 heavy-duty engines, including X12N natural gas version. The factory operates with world-leading technology and quality control standards, featuring highly automated production lines for cylinder block and head machining, assembly, testing, painting, and attachment. BFCEC is certified with IATF16949, ISO45001, ISO14001, and ISO50001, and strictly follows the Cummins Operating System (COS).
